New Zealand Globster : ウィキペディア英語版 | New Zealand Globster
The New Zealand Globster was a large unidentified carcass that washed ashore at Muriwai, in the Gisborne District of the North Island, New Zealand, in 1968. It was long and high, and covered with "sand-matted grey hair four to six inches long" growing out of a tough hide. J. E. Morton, chairman of the Zoology Department at the University of Auckland, was quoted in the ''Auckland Star'' as saying, "You can rule out whales because of the hair, and you can rule out sea elephants and sea cows because of its size. I can't think of anything it resembles." Morton later stated that the object was part of a decomposed whale. ==References==
